Connor Fine Painting joined Citizens Energy Group employees in their 10th Sharing the Dream philanthropic event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Our commercial painting employees enjoyed beautifying the Brookside Park Family Center Gymnasium for members of the Central Indiana community to enjoy. According to Citizen’s media representative, Laura O’Brien, “Brookside Park is a 108-acre municipal park on the near-eastside of Indianapolis, just north of the Rural-Sherman neighborhood… Throughout the two-day service project, volunteers will spend time painting walls, installing new lighting, refurbishing the auditorium and stage, expanding the kitchen area, moving the reception desk to a more visible location and much, much more.”

“Indy Parks’ staff is working hard to preserve the historic nature of Brookside Park and to make it the best place to visit in Indy,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett. “Citizens’ improvements will be greatly appreciated by staff and park visitors. Completion of the project will go a long way toward helping Indy Parks achieve its mission of connecting communities by providing places and experiences that inspire healthy living, social engagement and a love of nature.”
