On June 13, 2015, Connor employees and their families enjoyed a picnic in the park and tailgating before the Indy Eleven fùtbol matchup with FC Edmonton. The day was picture perfect and topped off by a beautiful blue Hoosier sky. Days like this were meant for grilling, watermelon, potato chips, corn hole (bag toss), Giant Jenga, camaraderie and laughter. After the picnic, everyone filed into the nearly sold out Carroll Stadium. It’s worth noting that Connor Fine Painting Project Manager Nathan Connor played collegiate soccer on this same field and it was a real treat to be back in the stands rooting for the home team. It should also be noted that Connor Fine Painting’s professional team of commercial and residential painters knows a thing or two about fùtbol. Just ask them!

According to Indy Eleven’s recap, “from the get-go, the ‘Boys in Blue’ looked the team more determined to ‘go out with a bang’…notching relentless attack after relentless attack into the Edmonton defensive third.” When all was said and done, it was a long trip home for the Canadian’s after Indy Eleven’s shutout 3-0 victory on goals from Brian Brown, Dylan Mares and Duke Lacroix.

Connor Fine Painting appreciates the hard work and dedication of our employees. And we’re always glad to have some fun while supporting a great Indianpolis franchise. The next Indy Eleven home match is on July 11, 2015 vs. the Carolina RailHawks. Viva Indy Eleven and Viva Connor Fine Painting!
